This has always been one of the best restaurants on the island but disappointed in fresh flounder over cooked . They did have a nice sauce on it. I reported and they gave me a glass of wine free?
Great place for seafood, views of water make for good atmosphere
Year's ago, ELA'S on the Water was known as Harbour Masters. It was the #1 Hilton Head fine dining restaurant. Great location with panoramic view to watch the boats come and go while enjoying prime cuisine. It was sold and operated under another name for several years and it's reputation suffered. Our food was delicious. For an appetizer we had their calamari which was very unique and incredibly tasty. For entrées, my daughter and I had the blackened Yellowfin tuna which was amazing. In fact, I would have to say that it tied the Ahi tuna meal we had at the Pearl in Bluffton has the best tuna I’ve ever had. My wife had the salmon Rockefeller, again just a perfect dish. The ambience, with the views of the harbor and yachts, is wonderful. Our server could’ve been better but all in all we’re definitely going back.

Outstanding food . This has got to be the best restaurant in the area. Available outside seating that views the harbor and ships creates the perfect evening Would definitely recommend !!
