Our family reserved a table at ELA in Shelter Cove to have a late dinner and watch the fireworks. We reserved about a month in advance. They had us situated at the perfect table by the windows. The timing was perfect. Wait staff was fabulous and really helped make it a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, great portion and tasted very freshly made. ELA'S On the Water offers lovely views of Shelter Cove from almost any table. The fish dishes featured on the menu are fresh and the presentation very appealing. The service was professional and attentive. We have made it a point to eat there every summer when we vacation on Hilton Head.
Wonderful dinner, atmosphere etc. waiter forgot to our in my sons appetizer but we shared.
Come to Ela’s every time we are on the island. Food does not disappoint. Loved the tuna 2 ways appy. Dessert was key lime pie. Not too tart at all!! Food service ambiance All great!!
Wonderful meal! Food was excellent and our server was very attentive. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing — dinner overlooking the water! Try the lobster nachos, which were a favorite for us and the strawberry cake.
Our Anniversary
This was our first time at Ela’s and it did not disappoint! We sat outside where the views were just gorgeous and the service from our server, David was top notch! All of the food was delicious, I don’t think you can make a bad choice choosing from this menu! We will definitely make this a regular stop when we come to HHI.
Very pricey, good food and nice atmosphere, not sure if the price ticket is worth it.
