Great food and exceptional waiter -apologies I forgot his name
We had a great experience ! Had a 6:30 outdoor reservation and were seated immediately , best seat in the house on the end of the patio closest to the marsh and had an unobstructed view. Service was great and food came quickly. Highly recommend for a date night !
The evening was perfect and the food was delicious.
Parking is horrendous! Although it would cost more money and increase liability, the restaurant really needs to invest in valet parking. It is an upscale restaurant with great food and ambiance. Start acting like one!

Awesome experience. Outdoor dining with a great shady late afternoon view of the harbor. Everyone in our party of 4 loved their entree. I was worried about it being too hot because it had been a hot day. The breeze off the water was really pleasant.
This restaurant is just beautiful! We dined outside on May 24th for our anniversary. We were seated at a private table for on the staircase and served a glass of champagne to celebrate our special night. This was due to our hostess when my husband casually mentioned that it was our anniversary. How lovely! Raven was our server. We had a lovely evening at Ela’s celebrating our 41st anniversary. We had a table overlooking Shelter Cove harbor. We started our meal with a complementary glass of champagne. We eat at Ela’s every time we are in Hilton Head. The food is always delicious and our server last night was delightful. The strawberry cake is to die for.
