The beet appetizer with goat cheese was amazing! The short run entree was very good but quite salty, as were my vegetable side. The lobster risotto was definitely not worth the $14. The crab cakes were probably the smallest I have had on the island and not as tasty nor worth the $32. The peanut butter dessert was very good.
Elas is awesome. The setting is so beautiful in the marina. The restaurant is elegant. The servers are spot on. The only problem with the menu is that there are too many choices of very delicious food. We had the osso bucco ravioli, the filet mignon and the grouper in addition to a number of appetizers. Everything is always soooo tasty. Ela’s is 5 star all the way.
1st nice vacation since COVID
Food was absolutely fabulous and some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere in the states. It was a special occasion night for us and there was no mention of it from any staff not even a congratulations. Management and wait staff very rude and even made my daughter feel bad for changing her order. If it had not been for upsetting the special occasion I truly would have said something more. Based on previous reviews, my wife and I went in guarded and we were not going to order any beef based on the negative comments. We also kept away from interacting with the host as many complained about his rudeness and arrogance. We started at the bar for happy hour and that was quite pleasant. The bar keepers were excellent. Great experience
Beef ribs were great but grouper was dry and without much flavor. View was spectacular and appreciated being outside. Overpriced for the quality.
The restaurant and food is lovely. The team clearly is devoted to good service.. however they seem to be stretched to offer the service. My guest thought that maybe the restaurant was training or still staffing up from the pandemic. I do love this restaurant; the staff is so pleasant and the food is great and the location is amazing.
Our first non-mask foray post vaccine! Was good to wait staff was still diligently wearing their masks. Our server “Andre” was very professional and attentive. We enjoyed shrimp cocktail, Vegetable Pasta Primavera, steak fries and encrusted Grouper. Large portions and took 2 desserts home for a treat another day. Would recommend!
