We all enjoyed a quiet family dinner for four at Ela's. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The scallops and yellow fin tuna were amazing dishes. Drinks and wine selection were wide to choose from. For dessert, the strawberry cake was the best! A plus, Tuesday evening was the firework display in August. We return to Ela's every summer on our yearly vacation and we have never been disappointed. Well done year after year. It is one of our favorite restaurants on the island!
This was our best meal on HHI. The service at ELA’S was too notch. The hostess was friendly and helpful and the wait staff knew the food well and made great recommendations. We loved the cocktails, but whatever you do, do NOT skip dessert! Amazing cakes offered by a local baker. Above all, the setting is serene and takes you out of the hustle and bustle of the touristy spots. A perfectly relaxed evening.
The food and service at ELA's never disappoints. The menu skews toward seafood, but it is varied enough to suit most every food craving. The restaurant is a nice break from the hectic pace of Shelter Cove on Fireworks nights. Service, presentation and taste are impeccable.

Great food, wonderful service and a fun night out. The view is great. Our server Luke was very knowledgeable and attentive. It was fairly busy and we weren’t in a hurry but definitely worth the wait. The food was amazing, we each got something different. Would recommend the scallops, but everything I tried was amazing. Plus save room for dessert. The strawberry cake was delicious!
Dinner was delicious - service was a bit slow. We had to ask for bread, waiter never asked us if we wanted any. great wine choices!
The food and service were excellent Our server was David, and he did a phenomenal job. The gumbo, crab cake entree, and bone -in ribeye were all delicious. The ambiance was perfect. Overall an amazing experience
