The food was good but the one area that was a big negative was the service. As soon as we ordered something, it was out almost immediately, this included our main entrees. It felt as if we were being rushed the entire time and we were finished with our entire meal within 45min.
The ambiance is amazing. The brunch food was delicious. I had the crab omelette and pear salad
We asked to sit near window instead of middle of room. Was told table was reserved but NO ONE sat there all night. Hard to complain about service as may have been understaffed. Good was great… everything else made us feel we were a “B” party and not an “A” party.
Perfect place to eat on the 4th of July with fireworks right out the window. Expensive, but delicious!
We arrived & struggled to find parking. The host was helpful. We sat outside as per request. They have these lanterns on the tables that are a cute concept but look sloppy with wax all over them. The waitress was so rude. Every time she came to our table she acted inconvenienced. Other staff was friendly. The food was excellent. The view was beautiful. But one person can ruin an entire restaurant.
WOW! All around great place. We had a table on the outside deck and had beautiful view of the marina. We were a little early and our table was not early. Since it was our anniversary they gave us champagne on the house while we waited. Excellent service and food was amazing.
Booked months ahead for July 4th. Usually eat here 1-2x per year. Great seat by window and access to balcony for viewing show. For the food, fried oysters are delicious and often a special. Clams Diablo was just HOT and little flavor. Surf and turf could have benefited from drawn butter. So the food is fine but it’s the location and ambiance we were after that night. We absolutely love Ela’s. Consistently great food. We love the outdoor deck and service there. Vanessa was incredible last evening especially considering how busy it was. Will come back over and over again. I’m still thinking about the flounder dish I ate. It was incredible.
We ordered 4 appetizers, they were all gbod, not top notch. There are several very good choices for wines by the glass available. Our server Karla was great. Sitting outside overlooking the harbor is quite nice. It was overall a good dinner experience and we can recommend it for people who are looking for a nice dinner place.
