Salmon Rockefeller was excellent. I normally like my salmon simple but this dish was heavenly!
Excellent blackened ahi and the peanut butter mousse cake was divine!
Ela's is usually our first restaurant to go to when on Hilton Head. On this visit, however, the "Maitre 'D" was almost rude. When asked if we could eat outisde he just told us one of our guests "no" without any explantion. He also committed a veritable Federal Offense by telling us our Service Dot had to sit in th corner or wherever instead of just right under the table by me (which is where she goes and stays). One of my favorite top restaurants. Excellent food with great service. Love the view with outdoor dining. Been there for a quite dinner, holidays, whatever the occassion!
Always try to make a stop at Ella’s when on Hilton Head. This trip we started our week with a Sunday brunch. We requested a table overlooking the marina and got exactly what we asked for. Bright sunny day and excellent vista. I debated between the crab omelet and the crab cake Benedict. Could not go wrong either way but decided on the Benedict. We make a reservation at Ela's whenever we come to Hilton Head. For this recent experience, we had a sense the restaurant may have been under-staffed and the bar staff not as usual. We waited a long time before our great waiter had time to get to our table. Four in our party ordered a cocktail - 3 out of the 4 said that their drink was not good. We always enjoy dining at ELA’S when in Hilton Head
Beautiful views of the marina while enjoying high quality, excellent tasting food. Perfect atmosphere and allows for easy conversation with table mates.
The location of the restaurant is great, fantastic water views from most of the seating. I had the crab cake meal which was very good, the crab cakes were very good, plenty of crab and not like some that are full of fillers.
