We requested outdoor seating. The seating itself was good but there were so many mosquitoes. May be because of the rain there were more that day, but it made our evening very unpleasant. To our bad luck, they also did not have the catch of the day. They said the boat did not come that morning. My daughter wanted a salmon with no bacon but we could not get it because of that. We chose not to eat their desserts because of the mosquitoes. The food otherwise was very good.
We often revisit Elsa Grill when vacationing on Hilton Head Island. The harbor view is fantastic. boats and kayaks coming and going. Fresh fish daily...many menu choices. We enjoy the out of the way spot....not many people find this fine restaurant.
Overall was a solid experience. Some of the apps were not good. Including calimari and carpaccio. The rest of it was good. Especially the hospitality.
Ambiance and service were both excellent but food just didn’t measure up.
Lovely setting with music, wine, and delicious food. Service was excellent. It's perfect for a special occasion. You will spend a bit extra but you will enjoy the evening. We have the fresh catch with scrumptious shrimp and Tilefish, Grouper entre, crabcakes appetizer, and caprese salad. A+ to the chef.
Atmosphere was wonderful! Enjoyed the variety of food to meet all of my family’s taste preferences. The lobster nachos are a must try and the hush puppies served with the bread were a delightful surprise. Highly recommend!

Great views from this restaurant, especially if you have a table next to the windows which we did. We had four adults and two children for dinner. They do not offer a lot of choices for children and our server’s description of the chicken fingers almost had us ordering double as she said they were very small - the order as delivered was fine.
