This is one of our "go-to" restaurants on the island. Consistently very good food, good service and the best dinning view!
First, the food was absolutely delicious! We had a group of 6 girls that dined upstairs overlooking the marina at night. What a special treat for us! Our server was great, but he kind of disappeared at the end of the night which is why I only gave the service 4/5 stars. The food, the wine, the music, everything was really good. If I return to Hilton Head, this is a must visit!
Service was very subpar. The food portions were like small appetizers. I noticed if you don't order a bottle of wine then your service will be minimal. Food was good just wish they gave more. Also, the "sides" that come with the dish is non existent.
We were so excited to discover this spot and delighted in the ambiance overall. However, four of us were there for brunch on Sunday and the food did not live up to our expectations. The service was delightful, but our waiter appeared to be stretched over too many tables. There were not many people there when we arrived, and our orders were taken quickly. This was my 3rd visit to Ela's. Brunch was just like I remembered it being last year. Light or small portion dishes that allow you to eat and then continue with your day. The food is extremely tasty and well presented and the service it good.
Our server was fantastic!, he was from Panama(forgot his name). He paid attention to detail and was very personable.
Started out with great drinks, followed by a great meal. Top it off with exceptional service. Thank you for a great evening.
Amazing dishes! We enjoyed the beef carpaccio, pear arugula salad, grouper with truffle mashed potatoes, and scallops with crab risotto and crispy prosciutto. The only thing I could critique was that the scallops may have been a tad over poked as they were slightly tough, but all the tastes were on point. Our waitress was lovely and the view and art were beautiful. Big menu so could definitely go back and try something new!
