Good food with great views of harbor. Brunch service was very good. Location is close to small shops and walkway around the harbor. Definitely recommend for special occasions.
We chose ELA'S first because it was close to where we were staying on our first time in Hilton Head, and because reviews/advertising looked good. We are boat fans, so the location overlooking the marina--with a table by the window--was delightful and full of interest. Service was prompt, thoughtful, and unobtrusive, with ample time to enjoy our food and wine; we were never hurried at all--something rare. Our server was attentive, friendly, and professional. The appetizers were very good, and our entrees were good, solid fare. The desserts were excellent - looked and tasted homemade.
Had a table outside overlooking the harbor with all of the lights and Christmas decorations. It was fairly cool, but each table had an infrared heater so it was very pleasant. Food was good, but not outstanding. The ambiance was worth the visit.
Came to Hilton Head Island for a weekend getaway. Google Googled a Must-Eat & couldn't have been happier. Loved everything about Ela's! Can't wait to come back!

Food was amazing. If you go Thursday - Saturday, you will be entertained by one of the best singers around. Totally lovely evening!
Found this place while we were staying on the island. We had brunch, the lox and bagel was great.
Overall experience was fantastic! Mixed feelings about service, great amount of time between courses, but didn't feel server was that attentive. Also, felt underdressed in jeans.
