A reliable place for a fine fish dinner. We have been there many times and are never disappointed in the food or service. The views are lovely as well. The only negative was that we were seated next to a lively table of 12 or 14 people. Conversation among our party was overshadowed by their noise. However, we would not hesitate to return.
Our food was good, the presentation was nice, but the service was terrible. I think our server was trying to handle too many tables, and we were very neglected, received little advice from the server, and probably would have made different choices if some of the entrees, salads and appetizer portion sizes would have been explained better when we asked about them. We felt it was very pricey for the service we received. this was our third visit there and the other two times were very similar.
The scallops with crab risotto was outstanding.
It is nice to be able to get a good steak simply grilled without marinades and sauces. The ribeye and halibut were very good. We had two different risottos with our entries which were excellent. The waiter was knowledgable and friendly but probably was assigned too many tables.

A foggy night just added to the ambiance, the lights in the marina and the rising full moon was special way to enter the restaurant. Seating was very nice with a view of the marina, even though it disappeared as we are. We had the halibut special and the swordfish, excellent in both cases. The oysters on the half as a starter were small but very tasty. Christmas Eve songs were being sung in the bar area and added to the festive feel. This was our first visit to Ela's..we were not disappointed in any way.
Excellent service during the busiest time of the evening. Food was delicious. We had shrimp, swordfish and crab cakes. Ambience is nice and festive.
Unfortunately my fish was overcooked and not sure it was even what I ordered. It was very pricey for what we had. I have been there before and it was good
Excellent place for dinner. We took our four children and they loved it too. Desserts were incredible. Great food and atmosphere.
