Service was awesome and we had the special of the evening it was beyond the best ever.
Father's Day dinner and it was fantastic. We were four at the table. Drinks were very good. All the dinners were also very good. Waitress was very attentive. Beautiful day and a nice view of the water, even though we sat inside. Will definitely go back someday.
Food needed salt; pasta dish was bland; service was great
We had a great dinner. Food was delicious and the service was top notch. They even emailed me a few hrs before my reservation to let me know they could move my group to an outside table if we wanted - definitely nice to dine outside. Definitely recommend Ela’s on the water.
Our server, Mosia, and her staff took good care of our party of 5 celebrating 2 fathers on Father’s Day! The Lobster Bisque and Seafood Gumbo were a great way to start. The Salmon Rockefeller presentation and flavor were outstanding! We enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli and Surf’n Turf as well. The manager checked with us to make sure the meal was to our satisfaction. We would return to ELA’s in a flash!
We sat on the outdoor balcony overlooking the marina. It was beautiful. It was very hot out, but the breeze on the second story balcony was perfect to make it comfortable. We would definitely be going back.
Appetizers - ahi tuna and calamari were great. We ordered 3 entrees - lobster ravioli (good but not made fresh), short ribs over grits (good), and halibut special (good but was not even close to “Cajun” as described on menu). Beautiful setting on the water in Shelter Cove and good service.
We enjoy the Sunday brunch here and have introduced the restaurant to friends and (in this case) family. The views, the friendliness and the food measured up to our expectations. The only two issues was that the waitress missed the entrance of our family and because the restaurant seemed a bit short staffed, our order was taken late and our meals were delayed.
