Our waitress at dinner the night prior recommended ELA's for the fish. She was correct with her assessment that it was very fresh. The appetizer, calamari, was not as expected. The breading fell off immediately at the touch of the fork, but the flavor was good. My younger son ordered the children's pasta and grilled chicken. He loved the pasta, but the chicken flavor was not good - I tried it myself. It lacked any interest. Wonderful restaurant. Read the reviews, was excited about going for dinner. All expectations met and then some. Can't wait to return for another great evening!
Great food, view delightful. Will return on next visit to Hilton Head
While the food was very good and the service was good, there was nothing outstanding about the dining experience itself. We were seated outside overlooking the marina so the view was terrific. There is not a lot of room on the patio so we were pressed wirh servers and guests squeezing by. The one man band added a nice musical element. We recommend for the view only.
Food was great. Scallops, Grouper, Flounder and Lobster Nachos were spot on. Waiter seemed bothered and short, probably just busy. We were put in a corner so did not get to see most of the restaurant. I would eat there again and hope for better service.
Grouper was very good. Nice cocktail. Key lime pie delicious. Waitstaff under staffed for lunch, but pleasant. Truffle oil left off the fries, but was brought to table separately after we asked.

Excellent!!!! Food was great as was the service. We had the pleasure of meeting and being served by Jade!! She moved here from France with her parents, I think but may be wrong, about 13 years ago. Jade was wonderful, attentive and conversive!!! We will definitely return to Ela's!!! We will require in advance if Jade is working!!!!
Great view if u sit outside. We did wait a while for our food but the scallops and filet were to die for. It is expensive but worth it for a nice vacation outing.
