Food was amazing. If you go Thursday - Saturday, you will be entertained by one of the best singers around. Totally lovely evening!
Found this place while we were staying on the island. We had brunch, the lox and bagel was great.
Overall experience was fantastic! Mixed feelings about service, great amount of time between courses, but didn't feel server was that attentive. Also, felt underdressed in jeans.
ELAS has continued to be one of our favorite restaurants on Hilton Head Island. Beautiful waterfront/harbor front views. Great outdoor dining. The salmon and short ribs were excellent. Great place for drinks and appts with music or a complete dinner

We enjoyed the ambiance and the seafood dinner was good. I was very disappointed in our bottle of wine. I was going to call the waiter but my wife said it was ok. Not wanting to be a complainer I suffered through. It was not enjoyable and when finished i noticed a large amt. of crystals and sediment on the cork. I did explain this to my waiter mainly so they would be aware in case someone else ordered the same bottle from the same vintage...which was 2009. With views over-looking Broad Creek, this experience was exceptional. Everything from our server to the food and beverage quality was excellent. I have been dining on the island for 10 years and had not been recommended to Ela's , but it won't be my last as it was such a great dining night.
My husband and I took out our neighbor's to Ela's for dinner before a play at the Art's Center. This was their first time dining at Ela's and they were very pleased with the look of the restaurant but also the wait staff and the delicious food. We were able to carry on a conversation without yelling to be heard. Live music was provided on the night we were there but we had to leave for the play. Restaurant overlooks Shelter Cove Marina and has wonderful outdoor seating. Food was great, as was the service.
