Went here on a vacation, based on open table recommendations. Loved it! We had both kiddos (1&2) and, lucky, both were well behaved because the crowd was not expecting a dinner fill

My wife and I have been coming to Ela's since the restaurant opened. We have never had a bad meal at Ela's, and last week was no exception. My wife and I had the Beet Napolean appetizer, which was fantastic. I had broiled scallops and my wife had salmon. Both meals were excellent. we were seated promptly. good, fast, cordial service. they were able to accommodate my special dietary request.
We visited for Sunday Brunch. The food was excellent and our service was outstanding. I do think the prices charged are out of line for the portions received for brunch. The sage sausage is excellent, but some in our party thought it tasted like hamburger, so be aware of that if you order it. Overall, a great spot, just a little pricey for what you receive.
We now head to Ela's at least once on every trip to Hilton Head. The food is fresh & delicious, the service great & the setting (we prefer eating outside) even better. It is pricey but totally worth it!
Classy romantic gourmet foodie nirvana. Cool art. Awesome view. Swanky space. A real stand out. Food allergies - no problem. Acoustic guitar music in the bar. Fresh fish arrives daily. Enaldo fantastic server. Make a reservation!!
Open arrival, we were told that our table would be outside since we made reservations through Open Table. That would have been fine, but Tropical Storm Bonnie was making its way toward landfall. The food was very good, but the atmosphere could have been better. About the time we were finishing our meals, we were offered a chance to move indoors.
Made a reservation for outdoor dining on a recent Friday evening and had superb seating with views of the water and wetlands. The food was excellent and presentation was outstanding. Service was leisurely which was a plus. Worth the price.
