We go to Hilton Head on vacation every year and Ela's is always on my list. I get the same thing every time, scallops over crab risotto. They were the best ever this year!! We took my parents who were first time goers. They loved it as well. Request outdoor seating, it's just lovely. Two thumbs up again! See you next year!
We have dined here a number of times and never been disappointed. A very enjoyable evening and a fantastic view!
Ela's is a favorite stop for us whenever we are in HHI. The food is good and the view can't be beat. Service has historically been very good, but our server this time was OK but not what we have come to expect at Ela's. Nothing especially bad, just rather indifferent and inattentive. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but we won't let it keep us from returning. Great food and a nice wine selection - something for everyone!
One of the best resturants on the island. Food is terrific
This was my second visit to Ela's Blu Water Grill and certainly will not be my last. To go along with the excellent food, service and view we also had live entertainment. The only thing I would have changed about my most recent visit would have been to request a table outside. It was a beautiful evening and while we had a table on the window, sitting outside would have made the evening even better.
We were seated upstairs and I did not care for that spot. I ate the flounder imperial and found it to average and too heavy. We have eaten there twice before and ate outside which is where you want to be in this restaurant. I think I just think I did not like the dish. Everything else I have had on the menu has been very good.
Excellent view, excellent service and best of all -- excellent food. Best meal we had all week in Hilton Head!
The food was some of the best in HH island and the view of the marina was great. Be sure to ask for outside seating with your reservation or they will put you inside. Try the Bee's Knees cocktail!
