Great ambiance, friendly and efficient service. The food was really good but there was a little too much emphasis on dressing up seafood that was already exceptional. Overall though, one of the nicest places at which we ate while in Hilton Head.
Everything was top notch. Great Food, wonderful view over Shelter Cove Harbor. A not to miss dining experience!
We always love Ela's for the great view the outdoor seating and the great food and atmosphere. This last time, the server was not very good and we waited an unusually long time to order, for a second round of drinks, and for our food.
In our opinion, best place on Hilton Head. Great views and great food.

Excellent Food!!! Table Service was very good. Prices where fair maybe a bit too expensive but the food was very good. The night was great that when I asked the hostess to call my nearby hotel for the shuttle to pick us up she said she did and it would arrive in 10-15 minutes. 25 Minutes went by and I called the hotel to check on the shuttle and they had said they never received a call. We always have a great meal here. The calamari is different than any we have ever had and is served as fried tender strips that are never chewy. Fish dishes are fresh tasting and seasoned perfectly. Sides complement the dishes well. The mushroom risotto is creamy and rich. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Their calamari is spectacular. They cut it into strips and it is tender and very flavorful. They took a basic appetizer and turned it into something unique and delicious. The view is quite lovely as well - a very nice way to spend an evening.
ELAS' is a real gem. Great food,service location!! It is like dining in Europe or the Mediteranian. I would eat there every day if I could.
