Outstanding! Best food we have eaten on the Island in the 13 years we have been coming here. Great view, good staff.

A lovely place to go with a friend for lunch, it was quiet and we could enjoy a long leisure lunch and have a conversation. They did not rush us and left us to talk and sit for as long as we desired. I would definitely return to this little hidden gem on a busy Island.
What a gem! Stumbled upon this restaurant online and it is now my favorite restaurant in Hilton Head. Very friendly staff, live music, and amazing atmosphere. Food is great and wine bottle prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend!
Wow, what a great evening and dining experience. The restaurant looks over the marina and marshland. This area has a great sunset, so we planned our dinner a little earlier to catch this! Our server Jason was top notch, and all his extra information from wine to all the menu offerings were great! The calameri appitizer was outstanding, as were the crab cakes entree and paella entree. We started by splitting the Fried Green Tomatoes, which were delicious although two of the five needed a knife to cut, they were green as advertised. Next we split the Beet Salad, also great, though I found the cubed beets hard to catch with my fork. For entrees, we had the braided beef short ribs with root vegetable grits and the Diver Scallops with crab risotto. OMG! Both were delicious. Been to ELA's multiple times and every time its PERFECT! The food, view, service and overall experience is top notch! They just renovated the bar and it looks amazing, perfect for before and/or after dinner drinks plus, they have live music during the weekends! A must go experience on Hilton Head! Will definitely return and spread the word!
What a wonderful surprise - Ela's Grille. I have not had a lot of luck in finding a good restaurant at Hilton Head in the past, but I can totally recommend Ela's as one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my life. The food was superb, service exceptional, owners - made us feel very welcome and a part of the family. The chef- what a great career he has ahead of him. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful...I recommend this great find - very highly. Thank you to the staff, owners and spectacular chef!
