Asked for a window table and faced a condo that was under repair. There was a better view of the harbor which we would of preferred. Otherwise the rest was great.
The food was excellent but either they were understaffed or the waitress just neglected our table.
Seriously well-prepared and distinctive entrees - layers of delicious tastes skillfully assembled to create a great experience for your taste buds. Calimari was tender strips of the body, lightly breaded with two delicious sauces. Deserts were classic and delicious.
I had the crab cake appetizer and a wedge salad. The crab cake was phenomenal. The wedge had too much blue cheese and very little bacon, but was still pretty good. The key lime pie was to die for! Great view, the man playing music was a little to loud and cheesy, but other than that I would go back. Hopefully though when I call ahead and make reservations to sit outside, they will honor that. Good food, Great service, Beautiful view, eat outside,we ordered the lobster nachos, grouper,keylime pie.All was very good.
Ela's is on the water with a great view and great outdoor seating. Pricing is on the high side as is most of Hilton Head. We had the steak special which was excellent. Service was very good. We went on a Tuesday night at 6:30 and had the place almost to ourselves. The only downside was the gelato. It was lousy.
all five of us were very impressed by the views, the interior & exterior set up, the service, food & wine. We shall be back !
We reserved an outside table and arrived at 6:30 pm. Perfect timing to watch the changing colors of sky, water, and marsh as the sun set. Beautiful. Oh yes, there was food. We shared dozen oysters to start: fresh and cold, with small (and sufficient) dishes of a red sauce and a mignonette (vinegar based), plus lemon.
