We waited a long time for our food. Service was friendly, but on the poor side. Food was average.
Great location and perfect for a nice leisurely dinner for a special occasion. food good and right on the harbor at shelter cove. very good service.
Great new restaurant with the best views on the Island. Food and service were outstanding. Make sure you try the calamari and ahi tuna appetizers. Scallops and lamb shank entrees were perfect. Live music started towards the end of our meal and was a very nice touch. Will definetly return and highly reccomend trying it for yourself.
Both the food and service were good. The view from the veranda is wonderful!
This was our first visit to Elas. We brought a couple with us to celebrate their anniversary and we all loved it! Each course was excellent. The location is fantastic with a great view, and a nice opportunity to walk around after dinner. Highly recommended!
Great new restaurant in Hilton Head. Service was excellent and table had a great view of the Harbour. Food was very good and the wine list contained a wide variety of prices and tastes. Slight drawback is that the menu contains very little variety beyond what you can often get in Hilton head restaurants -- grouper, salmon, scallops, shrimp, a pasta dish or two and a few beef entrees. But food was excellent.
The spectacular location of this restaurant, at the mouth of the Shelter Cove Harbor with a view of the marsh beyond, is almost enough to offset the shortcomings we experienced in both service and food. We feel as though we should go back and order some different dishes before passing judgment.
Ela's is tucked away in a quiet serene harbor. Great food, cool bar area for pre-dinner drinks, amazing view, and the owners greet you at the door! We had the pleasure dining here last Saturday, and have nothing but great things to say. It is a must-visit for someone traveling here. The grouper special was perfectly cooked with well-balanced flavors, and the french onion soup could not have been better. Look forward to coming back next vacation to the island.
My husband and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Ela's. The food was outstanding,fresh ,simple and yummy. We will most certainly return.
