My husband and I have been vacationing on Hilton Head Island with our 10 year old son and we were looking for a nice outdoor restaurant by the water and were very pleased with the atmosphere, warm hospitality, great service and delicious entrees! Service was excellent. Food was just ok. Not worth the price. Very expensive for what you get. Best thing that they had was the calamari. Rest of food was subpar for the price. Do not get the kid pizza. Everytime you touched it the cheese would just come off the crust. My grandson would try to pick up the pizza and the cheese wold come off in his hand and the crust would still be on the plate.
This is a great new addition to Shelter Cove Harbor. Only open 6 weeks, but I think it will do well. The food was delicious and very nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive. And the views were wonderful. When it's a bit cooler, the outside dining option will be very nice.
Calamari was delicious! We went on a whim since it hasn't been open very long and were impressed. Our service started off a bit slow, but was fine after they realized we were there. We shared a couple of apps, the arugala/pear salad(delicious) and the diver scallops. The pasta of the day sounded delicious. The portions were very generous, the view was outstanding, we watched the boats come in for the day. I would recommend!
Food was great, plus a beautiful location. Parking is horrible, the only true downside. It was exceptionally noisy, but we were seated over the bar. The hostess was a real gem, who went above and beyond to take care of guests.
We had a fabulous meal which was one of the best we have ever had and we dine out often. The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and delightful. The view was great as we overlooked the harbour. Outdoor seating was available, but it just was too warm to enjoy a table in that area. As we left we made another reservation.
Food was very good, portions large. Could have used 2 appetizers as an entree. Nice wine selection.
