This is one of the best Marinas we have stayed, fabulous and friendly staff. Great location, facilities and restaurants. Only negative is low tide it does get shallow.
The Best. We brought our boat down from Annapolis MD. for the winter. We came 5 times over winter and on the third time when I got there I said "I'm Home". All of the staff are 5 star service. They treated us like family and aways asked what more they could do. Harbour Master Mason and Dock Master Preston are outstanding in service. The entire Marina community including all stores and restaurants, along with all the grounds and walking paths are fantastic to enjoy. We are coming back this fall to stay again for the winter.
We truly enjoyed our stay. There’s so much to see and do nearby, plus the island is super easy to get around in. Couple that with a great facility, extensive amenities and folks really wanting to help you out, and you got a top tiered marina. Thanks for a terrific stay; we’ll be back.
Great staff and wonderful location. Staff went out of their way to help us. Once I left my wallet on the boat and they mailed it back to me overnight mail and one other time we had contractors on the boat and a small electrical issue occured and they came over, fixed it, and checked everything in the boat to make sure all was well. Great help and service when I checked in and fueled up. Shallow entrance at low tide.
Shelter Cove is our favorite quick getaway destination. The staff is first rate and the dock hands are excellent. The fairways can be a bit tight to negotiate but there’s practically zero wind and current in the basin. Can’t beat the access to a variety of good restaurants on property. To top it off, have a warm croissant and coffee from Hilton Head Social Bakery before departure!

Docks are nice floating aluminum docks in a very sheltered harbor! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Very attractive location with access to lots to do. Only reasons for less than 5 - low tides we bottomed out in the slip (as did others) and for half the marina ots a LOOOOONG walk to the showers and laundry - but the free bikes helped! Also, car access for loading or unloading was a pain.
Wonderful place to sty on Hilton Head Island. The Staff and the Harbor Master are very nice and accommodating.
