My experience dealing with Shinfield View has been exceptional, this was from day one when a member of the team met with myself and the now resident in their home. The care and conditions at Shinfield View are one hundred percent, management and care staff are always pleasant and most helpful when carrying out their respective duties. I would commend Shinfield View to anyone seeking care.

Our Mum spent a month at Shinfield View for respite care after a significant increase in her dementia symptoms. We had no prior experience of any form of care provision so this was an intense learning experience for us all. We met with Nadia (manager) before the respite care began and felt hugely invested in through her time, advice and patience. I spent 2 weeks at Shinfield View following surgery to remove a kidney. After 2 visits to familiarise myself with the setting I was confident that I had chosen the right place for my post operative care and recovery. My expectations were surpassed. I had a lovely spacious room with an outlook to the garden and a door which allowed me access to the garden. The staff were excellent. They were attentive,friendly,caring and efficient. Shinfield View have been taking good care of a friend of mine for over a year now From Management right through the team the care has been first class Just help celebrate my friends 91st Birthday in the home the food and service was fantastic Highly recommended

My Mum came home happy and full of praise after a lovely stay at Shinfield View, she was well looked after and enjoyed the company and care provided. She was in the perfect room for her with garden view and comfortable furnishings. We will be back, we all benefited from the break knowing she was safe and having lots of social interaction.

Dad came to Shinfield View initially for respite in December 2024, after a fall that left him quite immobile. Dad then became a permanent resident and absolutely loved being here. He became more mobile with a frame and participated in many events that the incredible team put on. Sadly last month he passed away. Dad received treatment in hospital but it wasn't successful so he came back to this lovely home for his final days. My mother has been welcomed into the home by the very friendly/dedicated staff and management, which has enabled her to settle into life at the home relatively easily.
