We visit every week and are always made welcome by the staff and we also interact with the residents, who are home. Warm and friendly atmosphere.
On first visit was very impressed. Had a lovely Christmas lunch. The staff were very good.

The waitressing/bar staff are always happy to help. All the team are quick to serve us at the bar. They recently organised a fabulous party for us when mums grandaughter got married in New York. An all-round excellent evening than you all xx
My Mum has been resident since October this year and the relief for us as a family has been immense as Mum is safe and happy. All the staff are amazing, all on first name terms and its great to see all the residents always os happy! We came for a wonderful catered birthday lunch and wish we could come more often but we would be as big as a house! Great chef! Did I say all the staff are amazing! Well, they are!.
Bar staff! Nothing is too much. Service is 5* with always a smile.
I was invited for Christmas lunch and it was brilliant as was the entertainment.
My father, who is 97, has been at Shinfield Care Home since the beginning of November 2017 after injuring himself following a fall and therefore no longer able to look after himself. He has settled in amazingly well and is very happy. He constantly says what a lovely place it is and what a nice room he has got. Also, he really likes the staff who are all very friendly and caring. Very welcoming, everyone is so kind and willing to help. They provide excellent care. The food is amazing. The activities and events they hold are outstanding. Would recommend this home to anyone.
