The home did everything to ensure the admission process went smoothly, it was well organised and the team made my brother, who came with my mother when she was admitted, very welcome and part of what was going on, so this made me feel at ease. My mother appears happy and content in a very short space of time, she is doing more than I have seen her do in years almost back to her old self. I couldn't be happier with the care and the home is just a wonderful place.

We booked the fine dining room for lunch with our uncle as it was his birthday. We pre-ordered our meal from a good choice. On the day, we were treated to 5-star quality food in an exclusive dining room. Excellent all round. Couldn't ask for more. The friendliness of the staff is much appreciated and we feel our uncle is safe and in capable hands.

Would be surprised if anyone could find a care home better than Shinfield View. I can't fault it. All the staff are so caring, nothing is too much trouble. The food is superb restaurant quality. The entertainment is great and the two fun-loving ladies who take care of the events are just lovely and encourage the quieter residents to join in - no one is left out. I will definitely move into this 'care hotel' myself in future years.

As you walk through the door and see the smiling faces of the residents and staff, you know you're somewhere special. To sit and talk with the residents cheers me up as they like to sit and chatter about their life. Tuesday coffee morning is great, along with Thursday evening entertainment. The staff are truly amazing and devoted to their job. The smiles of the staff make a rainy day change to summer sunshine.

As a friend, we are always made very welcome. The staff are friendly and courteous. The entertainment and food are excellent. Always a variety of activities to suit all tastes. Would thoroughly recommend this well-presented home, (a home from home).

Friendly staff creates an extremely pleasant homely atmosphere for both residents and friends/visitors alike. The food is very good and the entertainment second to none!

From what I see the residents are very well looked after and really enjoy the social get together and the staff are up there getting everyone to enjoy the evening.
