We went to bowl for the first time here. First off, we had no waiter for about the first 25 -30 minutes and when we told the employees at the bar if we could get someone they kept saying they would send someone, we told them twice if we could get a waiter. I understand a 10 minute wait, maybe even a 15 minutes but 25 minutes just to get some water? That's ridiculous. Then when we began bowling, our lane had a malfunction, the bowling balls were not coming back out and our pins were getting stuck. This was about 5 minutes int... read more
First off let me start by saying this place us impossible to find. My GPS was going crazy. When we finally got there the parking was a nightmare. After circling the parking for over 40 minutes, with no luck, we decided to catch the next showtime . The manger was very nice, she let us transfer to a later show. Parking is awful so leave home early or you will be SOL.
Love the theatre. Had to rate it down due to the volume in theatre 5. A great movie experience requires sound. I found myself straining to hear half of the movie. The volume is way too low. I haven't been to all of the screens at this location but beware of screen 5. The Kingwood location has the same sound issue. The SDX is awesome. It's the normal screens that have sound issues. Gonna start off by saying this place is really nice! It has a nice bowling alley, bar, arcade and really good selection of food. Although everything was nice, sadly the employees were completely rude. I went last night with my friend and walked straight to the bar after purchasing our ticket. The bartender seemed angry or something because she was a bit rude. This place is gross.we paid for bowling and a movie decided to order some food as well and unfortunately my mothers chicken was raw and the pizza tasted like rubber and wet dough. DO not order food here
I normally don't write reviews but first time and last time I go!! I went with my husband and my 2 month old baby, the girl whom I was purchasing the tickets told me I had to pay a ticket for my daughter! She was 2 months old really?? I understand some theaters have an age limit to when is free but asked to pay for a 2 month old like really?? The family came here to go bowling so I can't say anything about the theater portion. We were given Lane 1 and on the very first throw I sprained my ankle...the floor wasn't finished properly. At first your foot slides like it should but then it comes to an abrupt stop meanwhile the rest of your body keeps on moving. The staff gave us a different lane and the family continued to bowl. I went yesterday to ShowBiz 5/30/16 to see Alice in Wonderland with my kids. This was my first time here, everything was fine until I went to order a burger at the Cafe place near the Bowling area. Well I placed my order at 4:20pm. The movie didn't start until 5:15pm so I figured I had enough time. I was the only person that placed an order at the time.
