Great company and friendly customer service. Easy to work with and willing to help with any questions. The ATF is also very quick with eForms. Completed my phone call and signing with Silencer Central last Thursday at 1630 and submitted paperwork, had my approval and Tax Stamp this morning at 0630 and signed 4473 form. Would highly recommend this company for your suppressor needs.
First of all I purchased my Varminter 3.0 around 20 years ago. I had a DPMS 223 bull barrel threaded locally. Big mistake. I had baffle strikes. Instead of going to Silencer Central which was Dakota Silencer back then, I ground out the end cap and the last two baffles and it worked great. Used it this way for 20 years. Fast forward to today. Very pleased with the entire process working with Silencer Central. In one month, 10 days from my purchase, I have my item in my hands. The entire order was painless, from purchase through fingerprints and finalizing my ATF paperwork. I like how I can do it from home but it’s made the whole process take so much longer bc of mail times after completing the process and being told a signature form would be sent in two days only not getting and calling back to see where it was I was told my order would have to be paid in full before they would send the final paperwork but was never told that so I waited for nothing slowing the process down so I told shim to charge my card witch he said he did waited two more days only to find out he didn’t charge my card so I... read more
They immediately processed my order. My appointment for certification was less than a week from my purchase. Hopefully a quick turn around now that I’m certified.
The first time it was a little rough. I can understand that getting everything in, finger prints etc. Second time really easy. Going on a month and everything is done. Partially due to me.
Great customer service and overall experience was quick and easy. Took me 2 1/2 months to get my silencer. I would definitely recommend using them. If will be purchasing again. The only thing I was surprised about was when it got delivered to my house the carrier stuffed it in mailbox with no one to sign for it and my wife was home so she could have. Same thing for my brother-in -law
