Excellent company to work with, also owning a silencer is not simple, but Silencer Central makes it hassle free.
A week ago this review would have been one star, but because of their excellent customer service, I'm giving them 5. I ordered a suppressor summer of 2021 while I lived in Mississippi, but then moved to Florida later that year. Now, after the *** had approved it, they were unable to ship it because I had moved. So, first off I have only had one point of contact with silencer central, and it will stay that way moving forward. I called to get some questions answered several months ago and spoke with a representative named Drew. That dude, legit should run the training for all CSR's everywhere for every company 4 EVUH. I've been very happy with the process so far. Been able to communicate through text, e-mail, and phone calls with quick responses. They have moved at the pace I've been able to move and even sent reminders for things that needed to be done. I was told 5-6 months from start to finish, they have processed all the paperwork in an acceptable time frame, now waiting on the ***. Their website is showing 100 days to process Form 4. If that is the case, shouldn't have any trouble with that 5-6 month wait time.
Silencer Central has been great to work with. Buying a supressor can be a daunting process. I had put off buying one, bc I just didn't want to have to deal with all of the paperwork. SC basically held my hand and walked me through the process. I'd also like to comment about most of these complaints that you see here. SC helps their customers with the paperwork required by the ***. Once the paperwork is sent off, it is out of SC's hands. My first (and possibly only) purchase from Silencer Central has been the slowest, clumsiest, and most inefficient NFA transfer I have gone through since the eForms system was created. After multiple mixups and glitches, including the wrong trust being entered into their system and a typo resulting in having to start the RPQ process over entirely, it took them just over a month to file my Form 4. These people are crooks. My father made an order at the outdoor show in PA. He was going to get 2 suppressors. Totaling $1800. Literally 2 days later, my father decided to cancel his order. They told him that they are going to keep 25% or $200 which ever is greater. Didn't understand why seeing how he didn't get the product. Next they told him that he would be getting the money back on a gift card. A GIFT CARD!. Not his credit card but a gift card. He said fine. as long as he got most of his money back. Don't order a Silencer from here! It's been almost 2 years in July 2023 and I still do not have my Banish 30 Silencer yet!!!!!!!! They have sat on my 1300.00 for 2 years collecting interest on it I'm sure! This place is a joke! They will not refund my money! They just kept it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Level of incompetence with Silencer Central is unprecedented for any company I’ve encountered in the past 25 years! Matt the salesman has been negligent in almost every aspect of the process, to the extent that his ability to tell the truth is void.
