I've been very happy with the process so far. Been able to communicate through text, e-mail, and phone calls with quick responses. They have moved at the pace I've been able to move and even sent reminders for things that needed to be done. I was told 5-6 months from start to finish, they have processed all the paperwork in an acceptable time frame, now waiting on the ***. Their website is showing 100 days to process Form 4. If that is the case, shouldn't have any trouble with that 5-6 month wait time.
Silencer Central has been great to work with. Buying a supressor can be a daunting process. I had put off buying one, bc I just didn't want to have to deal with all of the paperwork. SC basically held my hand and walked me through the process. I'd also like to comment about most of these complaints that you see here. My first (and possibly only) purchase from Silencer Central has been the slowest, clumsiest, and most inefficient NFA transfer I have gone through since the eForms system was created. These people are crooks. My father made an order at the outdoor show in PA. He was going to get 2 suppressors. Totaling $1800. Literally 2 days later, my father decided to cancel his order. They told him that they are going to keep 25% or $200 which ever is greater. Didn't understand why seeing how he didn't get the product. Don't order a Silencer from here! It's been almost 2 years in July 2023 and I still do not have my Banish 30 Silencer yet!!!!!!!! They have sat on my 1300.00 for 2 years collecting interest on it I'm sure! This place is a joke! They will not refund my money! They just kept it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The initial steps with Silencer Central, from submission to ATF approval, were smooth and efficient. However, the process after approval was frustratingly slow. I have purchased two suppressors from Silencer Central and used their barrel threading service on a new barrel. I've spent a couple thousand dollars on their products. Recently, I ordered a 5/8 x 24 thread mount for one of the suppressors. I was purchasing a new rifle and the online specs called for a 5/8 thread. This company has terrible business practices and customer service and their 25% “processing/restocking fee” is terrible! Once you’ve given you’re money to them, if anything goes wrong in the process wether it’s the customers fault or not, the customer pays a 25% fee.
