Well, what to say? I just purchased a new construction home in their Woody Farms community and I was thoroughly impressed with all staff members that I dealt with. Connie was amazingly patient and understanding with me as it was my first home. Smith Douglas agreed to push the closing back since my lender had to reverify employment due to COVID shutdowns. I was really thankful for that. The build manager Jason was awesome. On our blue tape walk through he taped things that I and the wife didn't see/or notice. Again, I ... read more

Great experience in our new home at Knolls at the Neuse in Clayton, NC. Bought it as a finished product (spec home) and got a great deal. They had finished it nicely and turned it over to us in great shape. We have had no issues and expect nothing major. Having owned 6 homes before this, I can tell you that he quality for the price is fantastic, and their finish work and correction of the few real punch list items from the walk-through was done quickly and completed before closing, with all items corrected. I have had a wonderful experience with Smith Douglas. I definitely can understand a few complaints but every house is different and building a home isn’t as easy as making a Starbucks coffee.. at the end they keep you well informed and go out of their way to provide a great home. We constantly asked tons of questions and they went way out of their way to make our new house a home.

We just recently moved into our home and I can't lie we are in LOVE! We feel like Smith Douglas craftsmanship is something that we wanted and received. During our walk through, all the issues that we have were addressed by the time of our closing. Bobby, was great. He was able to let us in on the weekend when we needed to measure for our furniture. We LOVE our Smith Douglas Home! It's beautiful and well built. We went with the Buffington. The layout is perfect! Very spacious and open for entertaining. Love all of the beautiful finishes. The sales agent was wonderful as well as the builder! Wonderful neighborhood! Maycroft, Gastonia NC.

We didnt have any issue with smith douglas, they did everything they said they would do when they said they would do it, we had one minor issue with plumbing but they arrived within 30 mins after calling and corrected the issue promptly. im satisfied with the home and the staff that worked hard for us in building our home
