I am thoroughly disgusted with the lack of response and hold time with this center. Noone returns calls,the system is always down. They will not help me pay a bill. Solis Mammography overcharged me and the agents are lazy and do not want to look anything up. I am sick of trying to reach this facility to no avail. Have been going to Solis for years. They turned me away at my last visit because my Dr retired. Even tho It says I don’t need a referral and I Do have health Insurance. This is an unhealthy policy.
Despite saying they accept my insurance I received a $400 bill. After contacting them they agree it should be covered but they needed to update their paperwork. I've been covered at every other Solis location, then all the sudden, not this one. Fast forward 5 months they are trying to send to collections. Will be filing a complaint for fradulent billing practices.
In January 2024, I was overcharged $140 at the CyFair location in Houston Texas. I’ve been told they cannot issue a refund because their CHANGE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM has been down since February 2024. THERE IS NO ETA FOR A RESOLUTION. This is their billing teams system - patient accounts, claims, billing, etc. HOW ARE THEY ABLE TO CONDUCT BUSINESS WITHOUT A BILLING SYSTEM?
RecommendedVery disappointed with this company. 1. My doctor referred me to Solis for a diagnostic mammogram after I had found a lump in my breast. I called to make an appointment and asked if I could pay cash and not use insurance. I was told yes and quoted the amount. On appointment day the receptionist asked for my insurance card. I told her I wanted to pay cash. She told me it was less expensive to run it through insurance so I handed her my card. Solis is listed as in-network however the facility where I went (HCA Kingwood) is not. Majority of the billing is by Kingwood Medical and is billed as out-of-network. Unconscionable! Even the 100% covered screening mammogram will cost you $365! Be forewarned! What a load of crap!! Won’t be going back!
Worst customer service ever in Katy off of 99. Very rude and disrespectful. Will never use this company again.
I had a mammogram performed in April, was contacted I needed to come back for a diagnostic mammogram and sonogram. At that time Dr. Johnston informed me “he had been doing this a long time, you have cancer and need a biopsy”. The biopsy was performed 3 days later. When I asked how they would get the markers out he told me “there is a less than 1% chance they will not be surgically removed”. The biopsy report came back negative. Stay away from the Garland TX location. Management is unprofessional and unresponsive. Horrible customer service. I've been trying to reach them for over 2 months with no success.
