We stayed for a long weekend (4 nights), and had the absolute best time! So much to do, from the game room to the river. The pools were a good change up. Volleyball and basketball. The kids didn't have a chance to even think they were bored. The cabin was fantastic. Well kept, everything we needed. All the grills and fire pits were so well maintained. It was just right. All the equipment and cabanas were in great shape. Such a relaxed atmosphere. Thanks for such a great vacation!

Everything was amazing except the bird house cabin does Not come with closed back side. Front is solid plastic/wooden wall, right and left side is thick tent material. But the back is totally opened by the screen wall(like screen door?). Whole back wall. So you are literally like sleeping without back door closed. Noise from next both bird houses will keep you awake until they go to bed. Small talking, music, walking sounds, laughing, f words, Everything! We went to bed like 9pm with young kids. Thank you for the glamping experience there at Son's Rio Cibolo. Our family loved the opportunity to have a reunion and celebration. I would like to say that it was very disappointing to have pets on site while we were restricted from bringing our pets. There were two families with pets on site. When I asked did they know this was a pet restricted environment they said that they were able to pay a $95.00 pet fee to allow their pets to come. Has a great time cabins were very clean. Loved the outdoor furniture outside our cabin and the fire pit area. Plenty of seating for our group to gather. Will definitely be going again.

This was our first visit to Son's Rio Cibolo and we absolutely loved it! This was a first step trip, to initiate my young family and friends to camping. We stayed in the Waterfront Cabins: were greeted by staff within 30 mins of arrival; had basic supplies exactly as described and everything worked. We love the campsite's layout! We let the kids run around in several open areas, went for a stroll on the Hiking trails, the kids kayaked for the first time and swam in the pool. This was spur of the moment booking. We were not familiar with Sons Rio Cibolo but we’re excited to book and find out more! It was the vacation we needed. The property is beautiful, clean and peaceful. The cabanas add a fun touch! I love that each tent and cabin has air conditioning ! This is a great vacation spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
