To start with John D is a great individual always doing his best. I have been working with him for over 20 years. Sod is always on time and John always returns calls promptly. John's attitude is awesome for every single time. He is always positive about everything, I never hear any negative words out of his mouth. John has a great company to work for "Southland Sod" he knows it and he appreciates his company very much! Southland Sod is with out a doubt the best Sod Company in Southern Ca.
I called Southland for more information about my Marathon II grass and to get some resolution around specific small issues on my lawn. They were incredibly helpful and sent Renato to check on my lawn in person. He was knowledgeable, considerate and provided suggestions to improve my lawn. Thank you Southland and Renato.
I replaced my front lawn with St. Augustine sod in October of 2021. “John” was kind enough to answer my questions and even come to my home for no charge months later to look at the lawn. He’s very knowledgeable. The company stands by their products and customer service is excellent.

Southland Sod customer support absolutely rocks!!! After achieving limited success with overseeding my Marathon II fescue lawn I decided to call Southland. Within just a few hours, one of their seed specialists (Renato) stopped on by to look at my lawn. He knew immediately what had happened and told me how to achieve high percentage germination.
