Our family dog got into a scuffle with another dog and St. Francis Animal Hospital was the only clinic willing to take a look at our pups leg. We drove all the way from Astoria and they welcomed him with open arms. He needed to be sedated for his wounds to be checked and it turned out he needed stitches in some puncture wounds. We were expecting an outrageous vet bill and to our surprise, it was extremely affordable and reasonable. They took very good care of our boy, and worked fast to get him feeling better. Our Dr. and staff were amazing! They were helpful and very kind and patient with our scared, injured dog. The vet did a great job at explaining what was going on and our options. Started with a very realistic plan and will reevaluate at the end of the plan. Didn't try to oversell diagnostics and treatment plans. Would definitely take our boy back for further treatment

Today I took my beloved dog in to be cremated. The staff member Cassandra was very kind and caring for my sadness for the loss of my dog. Thank you for the compassion you showed me and helping with the process of cremation and picking an urn for her to rest in peace.

Brought my cat in for euthanasia, which is always a dreaded experience. But the staff and Dr Castellanos made it as easy on both of us as it could possibly be. I was able to walk in on a Saturday when my normal vet couldn’t get us in. They were great treating my dog’s ear infection with compassion. The vet was very knowledgeable and took time to explain.
Dr. J. Julian saw our boy Max last night after an emergency run from our rural area. We were a walk-in appointment. Our boy, Max had liquid buildup in his chest cavity, and they had to perform an emergency thoracentesis to relieve the pressure on his heart and lungs. It was a shocking revelation, because other than some breathing issues, and some activity intolerance Max was his usual self. It was extremely busy for everyone that day. The staff were all wonderful. Even though Holly was very busy, she was kind, compassionate, and checked on me several times, as I was losing my 16 year old dog. I'm happy you were there for me! Thank you.
This was our second emergency visit to St. Francis Vet. The first was with our Stella who was critically ill and the compassionate care they gave her was comforting. This time our Uno was the patient. He was looked after with care and everyone was very helpful. Now he is doing fine. We highly recommend St. Francis Animal Clinic.
