I absolutely love visiting Standard Service in Heath. I was so excited when I found out they were opening a location here. Such a glamorous, spot for lunch, dinner, or even brunch. The chicken ravioli Alfredo is my absolute favorite. Their Tex-Mex nachos, chips and queso, and cheese sticks are amazing appetizers; although, the nachos could pass as a whole meal.
Great food. Portions are fair. A bit pricey. Always good service and a very nice and different atmosphere.
Drinks were good but small. Like I could finish one of the speciality cocktails in 5 sips Food wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. I'd go back for drinks but not out of my way for the food.
Two booths and Five tables are open, yet they won't seat a family of Five. They won't take reservations over the phone but all tables were 'reserved'.
Limited menu poorly executed. MIL loves their hamburgers though. Same restaurant group has killed a good steakhouse.
She could have been more sympathetic. I spent a lot of money with them. I was very disappointed.
Awesome place to take the family. Good eats with an eclectic indoor ambience and an awesome outdoor patio with PB courts and a huge TV screen.
Fantastic bartending staff. My wife and I brought my mom out for an early dinner while she was in town. She recommended some delicious drinks and the loaded grilled cheese with tomato soup was the perfect amount of food and heat on a cold Wednesday night. Food is always delicious and staff friendly. Highly recommend.
I've now eaten here about 4 times and each time I would say the food has been basic. I did enjoy the tortilla soup, but not enough to change my overall opinion of the restaurant. On top of that, I feel the prices are very high to justify the food. My bar is high with the number of great restaurants in Dallas to compare to. Disappointed as the menu does look better than the majority of restaurants in the area. The outdoor area is cool. Wish the food was equally up to par.
