Starch Animal Hospital drs and staff have always given my dogs and cats the best of care as well as being so supportive. I've had kitties I found hit by cars put back together against the odds, help with my sick dog, Brinkley and making decision to let him go peacefully, ongoing care of my Shelties and great support and kindness in the loss recently of our cat Missy of 17 years. I had to make an unfortunate trip to Starch when my cat Melvin had gotten sick. They scheduled an appointment for him that day and ran blood work to find out he had kidney failure at a young age. Dr. Halligan was so kind to us and incredibly gentle with Melvin. They kept him for the weekend and ran tests to help us hope for the best. Unfortunately the results weren't what we wanted and in the tough decision that no pet parent wants to make they helped ease the stress. We love the staff at both locations! We have a very unfriendly cat with a terrible infection, and they are able to handle him with very little stress to him. They have been amazing in the past as well. Very compassionate and helpful!

Ive brought my cat in a couple times for an eye infection and have been impressed throughout the entire process by the level of compassion, consideration, & communication from the vet (Lori Halligan) and employees. Excellent care and lots of gratitude. I highly recommend bringing your fur babies here in times of need!!! 💛

My dog Jackie has been a patient for a year and she's well cared for. Today they went above and beyond by helping me get my cat out from behind my glove box where she snuck while I was driving. I'm so grateful for their care and attention.
