Great stay in Charleston. Only downside is the noise from the street as cars drive by and as people walk down the side of the house. The windows are single pane and don’t do much for noise control.
The place was beautiful and as pictured! King Street is very accessible and the few Uber rides we took were all less than $10. The beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for our group of 4 girls. The noise from downstairs, noted in other reviews, was significant. The StayDuvet team was kind enough to bring us sound machines, but they cannot drown out the loud music and glass bottles being dumped in trash cans well past midnight. We had a great time in Charleston. The unit was exactly as advertised, with plenty of space and a gorgeous balcony. The close proximity to King Street worked well and questions were always answered promptly.
First off, the location of this airbnb was great. The place itself was adequate. It had some of the things you would expect, towels, glassware, pots and pans, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, but some small touches were missing like trashcans in the bedrooms, kleenex, extra blankets, mat for entering the home (we had dirty/wet shoes to contend with), etc. The beds were comfortable, but the upstairs bed frame seemed unstable. We really enjoyed our time in Charleston and this rental was perfect for our group of 6 people. The location is great - just a few blocks to King Street and a 15-20 minute walk to downtown, the French Quarter, etc. The kitchen is great and had everything we needed. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The only thing that wasn't the best was the rental has another rental right above it and you can hear every single step they take all day and night. We had a wonderful time staying here. The house is really pretty inside and well appointed. My only issue with the house is the parking situation. The driveway is very narrow, and to make it worse to get into the driveway you have to accelerate to get over a big dip or bump (I don't recall which it was) right at the entrance, but you are afraid to accelerate because of it being so narrow.
