New Years Eve Stone Creek is one of my favorite places to dine. However this new years eve was very disappointing. We had reservations for 4. The couple we brought with us had never been there before. They were not impressed with the service. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks, 25 for my soda water! I had to ask twice for bread. That took appx. 30 min. I pleaded with our friends to give Stone Creek another shot on a normal evening. Hoping they will. The food was excellent as usual.
Christmas Eve The restaurant was decorated for the season beautifully; they have very friendly staff, the food is always delicious. As a member of the Cunningham Club, or whatever it is called, I received a free dessert for my birthday. We are making it a tradition to eat here in December, and I also meet girlfriends here on other occasions. And it's right across the street from the movie theater! What's not to like?
not happy When we arrived at 5:30 there were plenty of tables available. We were seated in a booth in the bar area. The only problem is that our server was also the bartender. Our service was extremely slow and inadequate. If we asked for something extra, we did not receive. This was the worst service we had ever received while dining at Stone Creek.
I wish I had something positive I wish I had something positive to say about Stone Creek-Plainfield. Appetizer of Fried Green Tomatoes was very good. The Seafood Combo was very poor in taste and presenation. The shrimp was frozen and long with the fish. Crab cakes were overwelmed with Cayenne Pepper. Veggie where frozen also and under cooked.
