This is simple. I rented a garage space in March that was advertised to me to be for car storage, which I needed. I checked into the facility on April 8, the start of my lease contract, and my access code was rejected. I was given a new, temporary code to enter the facility, was directed to my unit, and I found it had a 4 foot entry door. I had problems going to the storage, first day someone was parked out with a tarantula trying to throw it in my car. Trouble with the code. The air conditioning area smells like mold . Th storage was kind of dirty. Only one gate is functioning. The call center is perfect, people very kind.

When I arrived at the storage space I was not satisfied with 1) no cameras inside the climate-controlled lockers area (at least close to my unit), 2) the ability for someone to easily unscrew the lock bracket holding the door onto the lock, 3) the ability for someone to crawl over the top of the fence cage and get into the unit where our boxes are located, and 4) ability to cut the fence cage and enter the storage unit. I would not have rented this unit knowing the above but had no time to change to a different unit.

Terrible but I’m locked in. Signed in on 11/10, it’s 11/14 and still don’t have a gate code for access. My unit was filthy. I can’t believe they’re going to charge me for a $50 cleaning fee when I leave given how filthy my unit was when I opened it up. Was in a jam so didn’t have a choice.
