RecommendedI was so pleased with the service I received from Stover's Restoration out of Hutchinson. The service rep., Shawn Amsink, was prompt and very professional. I had a leak in my basement that left mold on the sheet rock, carpet, and insulation. The mold was removed and the area was dried leaving a wonderful smell and for me a feeling that the basement was a safe place for my grandchildren to play. Our sewer backed up in our basement storage room. Stover's Restoration of Wichita Kansas was called to assist with cleanup. Their response was very prompt once contacted and worked well to accomodate my crazy schedule. The guys that came out was very nice and helpful. They did a great job cleaning the affected area. my insurance company asked that i inventoried all damaged items an turned into the insurance. Came home from camping to find our basement was flooded from a busted pipe to the well tank. Stover's was called and here in a short time. They worked non stop until it was ready for the fans. Tyler assured me that the carpet could be saved and needless to say, my day looked a lot brighter. Thank you for the great service and concern you have showed us.
We were working at the Kansas State Fair during September and when we returned home we had a water problem in the kitchen. Stover's Restoration came to the rescue. They came and took care of the problem; ripping out the existing flooring so that the contractor could come in and replace the damaged flooring. They were experienced, understanding and thorough. Arrived quickly, immediately provided info about insurance coverage and deductible costs. The equipment they used was overkill for our small amount of water damage, but would have been great for a large area. Area was cleaned out, sprayed with antimicrobial and then dried with fans, dehumidifier and HEPA filter. Yes they charge what seems to be a lot of money, and yes it's probably worth it.
First of all, I want to say that Stover's was here very quickly after our fire occurred and was very thorough in their explanation of what needed to be done, how long it would take, etc. I was never home when Stover's was at the house because I had to work, but my husband was. Everyone loved on our animals and again, always made sure to tell Ken (my husband) what the next step was. Each day they were here, the house became noticeably better and better.
