I have had to take two of my cats to summit for emergencies. The first was 2 years ago. Sadly, my first kitty died in the car on the way there....just before we arrived. I calmly walked into the clinic to tell them. They had been ready with O2 for her. I told them she passed a few minutes ago. They were so compassionate. Immediately passed me a box of Kleenex. My 11 year old daughter joined me inside a few minutes later, crying and very upset. They were equally kind and compassionate with her. We got a private room. ... read more

Summit Veterinary Referral Center is the most compassionate office I have ever worked with. Unfortunately, on May 15, 2017, my sweet baby of 11 years started acting funny and I had to rush him in to the office since this was the location of his heart doctor (although we did not use the vet here). Dr. Miranda Uriell was the doctor on duty when I brought him in that awful early morning. The front office was quick and caring when they immediately took Sinbad back. The parking lot is terrible, the front desk seemed understaffed and harried, the tech and the doc were excellent. They listened, they asked, they were interested in the best care for my dog. Definitely worth the parking stress.
I would like tell Thank you so much to Dr. Jerry Demuth. He safe life my little girl Yorkie. My dog was over then 10 days in horrible pain and he is only one who tell us that was wrong with her. He did surgery and take of good care about my dog. She is home right now. Dr. Jerry Demuth help my dog come back to her normal life and to be happy again. Also Thank you everybody who was helping. Very nice people working at the hospital.
