this awful place refused to euthanize my old dog that is dying, she hasn’t eaten in five days when I brought her in and I was told I need to “prove it” before they would euthanize, so my dog is starving to death instead of being put out of her misery. This place just wants your money, they are monsters that don’t care about animals at all. Instead of having some compassion for my dying animal they just want to run a bunch of tests and offer me options I cannot afford, and I told them this several times.
We went to the location on a Saturday since all the other vets are closed. Our cat lost the use of his back legs. Upon check in they advised it would be 2-3 hours and had us wait in the car. We never heard from them or had anyone check on us. So I went in and the front desk staff said they it would be several more hours and there were 6 ahead of us. They never said 2-3 hours was a minimum. The vet Tech was extremely apathetic and showed extreme lack of care. With the 5-6 staff members at the front you would think they woul... read more

Hello Justina, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Our veterinarians operate under constraints on the number of patients they can attend to simultaneously, leading to varying wait times for clients throughout the day and night. We appreciate your understanding as our dedicated hospital staff works tirelessly to address the needs of every pet entering our doors, even amid a high patient volume. Thank you SVH
We have been pro Sumner Bet Hospital for some time. Last night was very disappointing when we took our Arnie in as he was not well. I almost feel they are more about the money than taking care of the animal. So what did they do last night? Well when the finally took his vitals we then sat for nearly 4 almost 5 hours then they did a blood test and said he was fine and that it was probably in his head and gave us recommendations for an internal medicine specialist and a neurologist. He is still not well and we are not sure ... read more

Thank you for your review. We are so sorry to hear about your experience but would like to add some content around your review. Luna came in to see us on our ER schedule for a small mass. Dr. Borre, who is one of our more experienced General Practice Veterinarians was trying to be helpful and did step in on our ER schedule as we were extremely busy on Memorial Day. We did explain to you that we would schedule the removal of the 3mm mass on a different day and not on our ER schedule as Luna was not in need of immediate medica... read more
First of all, we went in for their free triage, nope 200 right off the bat. Secondly they started our dog on iv and antibiotics because she had a uterus infection and was sepsis which is all great, but they started it before we said the okay. They said we need 600 dollars more now, They then came in at 11pm on5/7 said they have to do emergency surgery or she will die. Then came back with the 4780.00 has to be paid up front and thats the higher end in case the 3500 did not cover the post op.. We asked to keep for her to be ... read more

Hello Desiree, I do show Cookie coming in to see us for Lethargy, vomiting and not eating or drinking. We did triage Cookie and as it turned out she was very sick and needed surgery to remove her infected uterus. We have a signed estimate (signed by you) showing how much we estimated her cost of care. We also show that our Dr’s and our Financial Coordinator communicated you with several times to update you on the status of Cookie and what the plan was for further hospitalization as she was not eating or drinking as of yet a... read more
DON’T TRUST WITH YOUR PETS!!! I would be speechless if I wasn’t so mad for the neglectful treatment of our elderly dog. She has had 2 hip replacements, in emergency care for heart and lung issues. When we were brought back to see her they had her in a slippery box with nothing for her to grip on to. Their excuse was that she was not admitted?…. She had been in there for 7 hours at this point with little to no attention being paid to her. On top of the neglect they want us to pay $4700 for care that they can not break down an... read more
Lied to me on cremation of our dog. We paid for private not group. Get notified ashes is ready. Called and it was group and refused to refund or apologize. How devastating this has gotten to us. It’s our dog that passed and we specifically wanted private individual cremation. They took our money and lied to us. Disrespected our broken hearts and ruined our chances of getting dog ashes. Avoid them and don’t waste your time there. They have never accepted their responsibility. They don’t care for our loved ones. They ruined it... read more
