this place ONLY cares about money. they dont care to help you animal, but help to fill their wallets they do not care about your animal, stay away from here by all means necessary. just look at how they respond to negative reviews. please dear God, go someplace else if you truly care about your animal

Business response:

Thank you for your review. We show that you came in with Homie after he had gone missing for several hours and came in for lethargy and not eating or drinking. We treated his symptoms and offered further care of which you declined. Thank you for coming to see us. We hope Homie is feeling better. Thank you, SVH

Terrible experience. Going on 2 hours of waiting. Several people have come in after me and left before me. I’ve got several different excuses as to why. I would not recommend.

Business response:

Thank you for your review. We are a full service hospital with people coming and going for several different reasons. There may be general practice appointments, Rehabilitation, Acupuncture, Grooming, Daycare or Lodging guests coming and going during the time you were here. We operate much like a human ER in that we will see the most severe cases first. Squeak was here and diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and sent home with meds and dismissal instructions. We are sorry you had to wait and we hope Squeak feels better soon. SVH

After seeing them, our boxer’s tail is SO much worse (black/likely necrosis) and they said they’d look at it and triage quickly this time, but then nope-too busy. I’d JUST called! Did they communicate? No follow up care, bad advice in the first place (I should have trusted my gut and Google-made more sense). She’s seeing our regular vet on Monday and I hope she’ll be ok, but when your care makes things worse, at least look at it like you said you would. I’m not sure I’ve ever given anyones bad review, but this was unacceptab... read more

Business response:

Hello Andrea, We are so sorry Misty is not feeling better from her Happy Tail surgery on Oct 25th. At the time you had called we were at Criticals Only and Misty would be triaged and put in line in order of urgency. She was stable and not in any danger at that time. She was also not wearing her cone as directed in her dismissal instructions and she also needed to finish her medications. We are an emergency hospital and we are working to help those patients who need us urgently and come in our ER schedule. We do see notes in ... read more

Do not go here if you value your time and your money. they quoted me 12-1500 for an emergency procedure for my dog. When it was said and done it was 1700 and they had no explanation of why they went 200 dollars over the quote. The whole time they were notifying me that everything was by the book and nothing extra was needing to be done. Had to pay the total amount and then when I got my credit card bill I realized they had double charged me for the office visit 173$. I have been fighting it with then for over 3 months and fi... read more

We will resend you the email explaining every charge and credit. Thank you, SVH

My 6 week old Yorkie poodle was brought in around 7:30 Friday. I understand the wait because of staffing but it was unfortunate that my puppy had to suffer in pain through multiple test for 4 hours Friday evening and come back and endure another 7 hours Saturday. We were very clear on the details of what the issue was with the puppy. So the vet finally called on hour 7 and said that he examined the puppy and believes he might have an infection. My wife asked him if he looked at his rear because he whimpered when it’s touch... read more

Business response:

Hello Rusty's parents. We are sorry about the wait, on this day and time, we were at criticals only. Rusty came into our ER for "not eating or drinking, throws head back like a seizure" These are the details provided to our ER team, nothing regarding a sore rear end are noted. A seizure would qualify as critical. Tests were done and provided to you regarding an infection and further discovery would be needed. We are glad Rusty saw his regular doctor and we hope he feels better soon. Thank you, SVH

Frustrating and Annoying experience No communication between vets No returns on emails My dog has been battling runny stools since boarding 6 months ago. Three visits and three different vets and still not better. Their own vet even recommended not bringing your dogs to boarding. Over worked and understaffed and unhappy vets.

Business response:

Thank you for your review Tanya. We are so sorry to hear about your experience. This is not at all how we want to operate our facility. Our hospital manager will give you a call and give you more details. Thank you, SVH

Zero communication, don’t review medical records, contradicting statements on lab/paperwork, constant calling & email trying to get answers. Dr.Millard won’t respond nor review medical records (tech or front desk). Trying to get closure. Quick to take your money send you away with invoice no diagnosis. Shantel Johnson “I don’t know or no response.” Please be cautious with this facility. No remorse no apologies no pro call for medical animals treatment plans. Not highest level of care. Don’t call or email to pick up remains. ... read more

Business response:

Ashleigh, we are very sorry for your loss. We detail all of our doctors’ recommendations for diagnosis and treatment made during a visit in our patient files, which were provided to you. Ultimately, the recommended treatment was declined. We do our best to answer any and all questions regarding care provided, but have a zero tolerance policy for the verbal abuse of our staff.

My boyfriends family’s dog just passed away 💔 on his-owners lap on the Parking lot of Sumner Vet. She was 8 years old. The vet asked if it was life or death, they said yes very. They came out and saw her and said oh sorry we are too busy to see her. True Story, no in between, no sugar coating and no beating around the bush. Ummm she is like dying, something is wrong with her pls help they said…. Oh sorry we’re too busy. Word for word, fact for fact of how it went. No excuses!!!! His brother literally walked in 3x’s ummm... read more

Poor organization of night shift work. Only one doctor. Knowing the burden on the doctor, why not have one more on call. If the load is heavy, call a doctor on call. The day shift is also not very clear how many doctors work. Such a large hospital and such a low licensing level.

Business response:

Thank you for your review. While we have been fortunate to be able to find incredible staff to hire, there is a worldwide shortage of DVM's and Vet Tech's. We are one of the only emergency hospitals in the area to have the ability to see patients. Here is a spreadsheet of all hospitals in the area with their wait times https://www.facebook.com/ervetsofww Most are at capacity all of the time. We are sorry you had to wait, we operate much like a human ER with the most critical patients to be seen first. All other stable p... read more
