Get directionsWho the hell allowed you to give my dog all these injections like cortison when he first had no inflammation and second I told you dONT give him anything! I only agreed to ultra sound, X-ray and IV fluids and you go ahead and give him 3 different injections without even knowing what’s going on?? Seriously?? Trust me that I’m going to sue your facility for doing things that I said DO not and I have never gave you the permission to do so! Thank God I recorded our conversation on the phone and have enough evidence next to my ... read more

Hello Zu Zu, thank you for your review.
Why would you delete my review from Azita Zereshki after you clearly lied about not giving my dog injections that he clearly didn’t need since you didn’t even know what’s wrong with him !? Why are you scared people will see what kind of human beings you are? And where the hell is my money that you took out of my account?? $2500!!! Do I really have to take you to court? For fraud, stealing my money. Giving my dog injections that he didn’t need? Who the hell allowed you to give my dog all these injections like cortison whe... read more

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, Cookie was very ill while in our care and the severity of this was communicated to you. You ultimately chose to stop all care and treatment for Cookie and removed him from the hospital against our advice and the advice of your regular veterinarian who was on the phone with you in our exam room. You also signed an “Against Medical Advice Release” form showing that you declined recommended treatment. You are correct that we were unable to pinpoint a reason for his severe Kidney failu... read more
we loved sumner vet for years, spent alot of money there, but they have to many patients and are scheduled out for over a month even for appointment for a sick pet (uti) but we sure could wait 6-10 hours in a cold car outside with her.... Now if it was a life or death I get waiting but turning a long time loyal patient away because you have to many animals now!! STOP EXCEPTING NEW PATIENTS when your already full!!! new patient should be seen under emergency only!
Business response:
Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about your experience, Starr . We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. Other veterinary offices have had a difficult time (as we have) with their own staffing issues and there has been a huge influx of pandemic pets. We have kept our doors open to serve our community while other offices have not been able to. We often find ourselves at capacity and give options for other facilities in the area. We are tr... read more
please please please please if you love your pet do not take them to Sumner veterinary hospital they are unprofessional and it's all about the money. they wanted $4,500 as a down payment for one of my sick puppies I had two of them it would have cost me $9,000. they wouldn't have even taking them in there unless I paid that money first how pathetic is that. I brought them home and they died early in the morning. They are definitely only in it for the money. If you don't believe me go ahead and take your pet to them. I wo... read more

We are so sorry about the loss of your pets. It appears that they both were tested at our facility for Parvo and were both positive. Hospitalization is recommended for Parvo as it requires around the clock hospital care. There are options for Care Credit and Scratch Pay if you qualify.
***DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR FUR BABIES***Let me start off by saying that I don’t want a response to this review from this Vet Hospital. There is nothing you can do or say to make the terrible and heartbreaking experience that I had any better. Responding would be putting salt on the wound. I brought my sweet dog Dozie here because she was throwing up and having diarrhea. We arrived right after midnight, and they took her in within about an hour after we waited in the parking lot (I’m not mad at that). Howeve... read more

Hi Carol, we are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your pet's visit. We aim to provide the highest quality of care to your furry friend and are saddened that you felt otherwise. We try to respond to every review. We are so sorry for the loss of Dozie. We do show that you came in on the 29th, we discussed with you the options of Outpatient treatment vs. Diagnostics. You chose outpatient with medications. When you brought Dozie back, she did go into cardiac arrest and we did what we could for her with CPR and Medicatio... read more
I took my dog here @ 1. To me it was an emergency, my dog was puking 24/7 literally. I described it to a lady over the phone she told me if i come she will be right out to bring my dog back for the evaluation. Because it was an emergency to her. When i got there…. I called let them know. Waited an hour patiently and called again, said “hey i was told me dog would be taken right back because he is barely able to breath or do anything” some lady on the phone said “umm idk where you got that information or who told you that bu... read more

We are sorry you had this negative experience. We will certainly be looking at this issue internally. We are pleased to see though that one of our doctors reached out this morning and seems to have addressed all of your issues and it sounds like things were resolved. We always strive for the best care possible and we clearly did not reach that standard that night. Please call during the weekday if you would like to address it further as we do value your feedback.
I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but I have to say I was beyond disappointed when I visited Sumner Animal Hospital this evening. I'll be the first to admit vets are busy and overbooked. I realize they are likely dealing with people and pets that are stressed. I had called 7 vets in my area to be told they were closing soon or couldn't take new patients so, yes, I was stressed, but I expected I'd be waiting for awhile. I started with a courtesy call to be sure they were seeing new patients. I received an open and h... read more

We are so sorry to hear about your experience. We have shared your information internally to ensure we do better.
It’s difficult to get them to answer the phone, get an appointment with a vet, get an appointment for grooming, and the wait for the emergency vet is horrendous in regards to wait times and cost.
Business response:
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your experience. While other ER and Grooming facilities have closed or are not taking new patients, we are. GP Appointments are 5 weeks out and Grooming is 2 weeks out. Thank you for your patients during this busy time. Thank you, Sumner Veterinary Hospital
