This was a second-floor unit next to a first floor building. You could literally step from the one story building to our balcony. Our balcony had a sliding door. The lock on this door was broken, and clearly had been broken for quite a while. Needless to say, we couldn't leave anything valuable in the unit until this was repaired, which took a few hours.
