Everything was good with my stay here. Except the housekeeping left a lot to be desired. One suggestion would be to keep to a schedule and have more education and groups. To much down time.
This facility was a much needed stay to stay sober. The staff were kind and helpful and the food was great.

Sunrise house is a bit of a rollercoaster, staff and nurses are very helpful, however they are lacking enough of them to run the building and meeting smoothly. Discharge planning is extremely helpful in getting addition treatment you need once leaving. Food is pretty normal, rooms and the building itself need a definite overhaul and updating. Overall, for my first, and last treatment center is was pretty much what I expected.
I attended treatment for 30 days. Overall my experience was not bad; however, there was areas that could have been made much better provided there was adequate staffing. In terms of specific disciplines, (therapy, nutrition, discharging etc) the counselors were above excellent. housekeeping suffered; waiting 15 days for clean sheets and then that being the only bed change was poor, not to mention, the carpet being vacuumed only once after 22 days was inappropriate and inexcusable. The counselors are the best that I have dealt with, good nursing staff but the organization is very disorganized. There is high turnover with staff so there is a lot of confusion with medication and discharge
