Went to the new Taproom in Ronkonkoma today. The staff immediately greeted us upon entering. We sat at the bar. The staff was very friendly and we were helped right away. The food was delicious. The new space is large and you have plenty of space to move. We will definitely be back.
The food was really good and service was great. Love the new location in Ronkonkoma! First time there and definitely will be going back.

Welcomed with a smile and a bustling atmosphere, there was live acoustic music playing as we were led to our table. The server (Matt) was quick to greet us with a smile and drink recommendations. The wife loved her Livin' La Vida Mocha chocolate margherita! For this visit, we had the Orange Chili wings to start and really enjoyed the combination of tangy flavors. Grew up in Patchogue and always enjoyed Tap Room. Gave this location a try today and sadly, walked right out. We were seated right away (because there was barely anyone in there) and the place had a sour smell to it. The table and booth seats were filthy, the water glasses had lipstick stains all over them and they didn't have many gluten free options. Choose another spot in Station Yards.
Long waiting time. Definitely understaffed. Food mediocre. Like, why would you send this fresh guac out?
Chef needs to read the order. And then when he messes it up reread the order. Food was ordered with a simple omission. Didn't follow and then rushed the food back out uncooked. Waitress didn't even offer a discount for two misses and simply disappeared rather than take care of the customer . Had great experiences at Bay shore and Patchogue locations. This one seems to be all about catering to the 20 something alcoholics and not the people who actually come to eat.
Over priced drinks...over priced food that's not all that good. Wait waaaay too long for seating and service not much better.
