Went to the Ronkonkoma location and was very disappointed. I love this place--the food is great--but the service was horrible, and I probably will not go back. I usually go on Sundays to watch football and eat mussels, and I was very excited when they opened the Ronkonkoma location, but I won't be going anymore. Dropped off some friends at the train and having heard so much about the Tap Room I figured I had enough time to stop in for a beer. It was either the Great South Bay brewing or Tap Room. First time there Saturday night. Sat at the bar for some great drinks, the bartender was helpful with suggestions. Only waited about 20 minutes for our table, but that's when things went south. It should not take ONE HOUR and 15 MINUTES for chicken milanese sliders, a cheeseburger and a side of Mac and cheese!!!!! The waiter came over only once, to say the kitchen was backed up. After that we were ignored , most likely because of how annoyed we were. We were so excited to go somewhere new, oh well....

Sat at table for 10 minutes without being greeted- left. Seems like team needs more training
Tried to visit the place....parking is an issue....$4 for 2hrs on the north side or in the circle...then 30min parking of the LIRR side vehicles will be towed.. so we never went in.

Hello Mr. K! We apologize for any inconvenience with parking. In the Station Yards guest parking garage it is FREE for the first 3 hours! There is also a commuter parking garage diagonally across from the train station that is $3 for the first 3 hours and $5 for up to 20 hours after that. We hope that this does not keep you from visiting us in the future, we would love to have you!
The atmosphere was not inviting. The service sucked. I will not be returning. People sitting next to us were making racist, transphobic, and antisemitic comments to the point one of the waiters had to tell them to stop. They did not. Donna R
Unfortunate as the food and atmosphere was amazing. People sitting next to us were making racist, transphobic, and antisemitic comments to the point one of the waiters had to tell them to stop. They continued and when my boyfriend confronted them, what I assume was the manager got in his face and asked him if he had a problem. They asked us to move/leave instead of the people next to us who were making disgusting remarks. No longer a safe place for LGBT individuals. Will never be going back.
Food and drinks were delicious. They allow extremely antisemitic, racist, and transphobic remarks from their customers and then requested the victims to leave/move. Absolutely never coming back. Update: the manager from the Patchogue location discussed the confrontation with me. Remediation has been taken. I am happy to see the upper management is willing to create a safe environment for everyone. Update 2: I was outreached again on Yelp and apologized to for this experience. I'm happy to see this establishment cares.
