They've redefined the meaning of a diner. This one being a first class one which offers very good food with lots of variety to satisfy everyone for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They make eating there even more pleasant through their friendly staff totally focused on the customer. Highly recommend it for those looking for a "neighborhood feel" to their dining experience.
A great place for breakfast! Food was solid and service was great. My only complaint was the coffee..it's actually bad.
Absolutely terrific! Maybe even better quality than the Barracks Row location!!
GREAT FOOD, GREAT STAFF, AND NICE ATMOSPHERE......... WE REALLY ENJOYED THIS PLACE... LOVED THE MENU ON THE NEWSPAPER.......... ONLY THING BETTER DRINK SELECTION.... NO APPLE MARTINI :(
This was our first time here and were excited to try this new place on 14th street. The location is great and the old fashion decor is awesome; love the big cushioned booths and high chair tables. Staff was very quick to respond and attentive. Our food unfortunately, was only "fair", I had high hopes but was dissapointed. However, I am willing to give it another try to choose a different entre as well as try some of the desserts, which look delicious.
Only my second visit, the noise level was so low on arrival (before 8 am) and the jazz so nice, it was delightful ... until more people arrived and then .. OMG .. difficult to hear one's dining companions. Peter, our server, was again great. I wish there were more bkfst choices -- like omlette choices (for me, spinach, feta, tomato.) The grilled corn bread was tasty and too much to eat. Excellent eggs and bacon (ask for crispy on the latter.) I'll go back and hope they do more w/ the menu.
I can't think of anything bad. It's such a cute little place. The food is amazing. I love the milkshakes. Kids love the pop tarts.
Perfect for everything you want!
We were really excited to try out the new location (given how much we love Ted's on the Hill) and while the food was as good if not better than the original location, the staff has yet to hit its groove -- e.g., we had to ask two different hosts to check us in for our reservation, I ate half of my meal while waiting for our waitress to refill the ice tea glass that she took with her when the food was delivered to the table, we waited 15 minutes for the check to be dropped and another 10 minutes for someone to pick it up.
