Went there last week and had a great time. Food was very tasty as I got the pork cutlet and my gf got the country fried steak. I also got a smore milkshake which was very unique and extremely filling.
this is a fun place to dine with great service. The adult milk shakes are delicious.
We had a decent dinner at Ted's Bulletin. The food was good, but certainly not anything spectacular. It's a good restaurant, but definitely far behind some of the other new restaurants on 14th Street.
Totally lovely evening. Good, quality food, nice staff, decently affordable dinner and wine, loud enough that kids can be there without being disruptive, but not too loud you can't hear each other. I'll absolutely go back.
I took a friend here to celebrate his 50th birthday. I have been to other Ted's Bulletins and find them a little better. Nothing was "bad" but everything was just very "average." Nothing to write home about. I wouldn't recommend it because I think there are so many other great restaurants in the vicinity of this restaurant.
My experience at the 14th Street location was amazing, just as I expected it would be. I can't wait for the Merrifield location to open near my home so I can go every day. The fish in my husbands seafood platter was a little soggy. I think that could be fixed by adjusting the length of time the fish gets dipped into the deep fryer. Other than that, our meal was delicious. I highly recommend the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup as well as the hush puppies in the seafood platter. Those hush puppies were out of this world.
Ted's Bulletin is expanding, and deservedly so. The cocktails, food, and desserts are all fantastic, with friendly low-key service. I found myself thinking about the meal with longing the next day. Definitely will go back.
Each in our party was happy with their meal: spaghetti & meatballs (the special), the chicken/shrimp kabobs, a biscuit/eggs/apple sauce (the chunky apple sauce would have been better served warm), and a large salad. One star off on the food, though, because a glass of wine here is a bit short on the wine part. And while the service was friendly, a star off because it seemed a while before we ordered and we were only offered drink refills at the end of our meal. Great decor, but expect noisy.
This was the first time at this location and the food was just as good as the original location. It was surprisingly empty for a Saturday morning, but that was great for us! I'm sure overtime this location will be just as packed on the weekends.
